Speed enforcement activity

Dear Resident,

Road safety concerns, in particular speeding, are consistently raised by our local communities.

Today we have been out enforcing on Studley Road and detected 19 motorists going above the 30, MPH speed limit.

Speeding can have a devastating impact on the safety of road users, increasing the risk of a collision and the severity of the consequences. If prosecuted for speeding, the minimum penalty is a £100 fine and 3 penalty points.

Enforcing the speed limit is a 24/7 activity for us so don’t risk it.
